Nicolas Cage is well known for the amazing ease with which he manages to pull his inner-crazy out of the bag, and will soon be seen doing so again on-screen; as the Ghost Rider star is now set to play a ruthless killer in the upcoming movie Wild Side.
Already starring Juno Temple (Atonement) as a beauty queen who steals a number of diamonds from Cage, and quickly finds not only the killer hot on her heels, but both the police, and a persistent news reporter (due to be played by Jackass’ Johnny Knoxville), Wild Side has been written by Stefania Moscato (Cellmates) and Jesse Baget (the Breathless writer who’ll also be directing Wild Side), and is due to begin filming this July, ahead of an as yet unannounced release date (presumably scheduled for sometime next year).
