Bright, the new script from Chronicle‘s Max Landis, seems to be amassing a fair bit of attention and talent; as not only is Fury/Suicide Squad director David Ayer on board, but Joel Edgerton (The Gift) and Will Smith (Focus) are already part of the cast, and Noomi Rapace (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo/The Drop) has just signed on to appear.

While the exact synopsis still hasn’t been released, we’re told Bright will aim to blend the serious type of police drama seen in End Of Watch with a tale revolving around orcs and a number of magical creatures. A tale, which saw Netflix fork out $3 million for the script, and award the production team a $90m budget to start shooting this autumn.
