OLIVE KITTERIDGE 3D_BDMaking its way onto DVD and Blu-ray earlier this week HBO’s new mini-series Olive Kitteridge (based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Elizabeth Strout) tells the story of an outwardly placid new England town which is wrought with illicit affairs, crime, and tragedy. Focussing on the harsh yet witty Olive (played by Frances McDormand), and centering around her relationships with her husband (Richard Jenkins), the town pharmacist and their son Christopher (John Gallagher Jr.), as well as other members of their community, Olive Kitteridge utilises a star-studded cast, and has been gaining widespread attention on the awards circuit.

In light of the impressive cast and crew involved, the three Golden Globe nominations, and Frances McDormand recently receiving the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries, we’ve got a brand new infographic below; detailing the impressive history, awards recognition, and star power of the Olive Kitteridge cast; following a clip from the series.
