Patrick WilsonIn a change to the original casting, which had both Timothy Olyphant and Peter Sarsgaard attached, the upcoming western Bone Tomahawk has just added two new names to its cast list; The Conjuring’s Patrick Wilson, and Lost’s Matthew Fox.

Scripted by S. Craig Zahler, the Asylum Blackout writer who’s also set to direct the film, Bone Tomahawk is due to be headlined by Kurt Russell (the Escape From New York star who’s also attached to Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming western The Hateful Eight), and will find four men attempting to rescue a number of people from the clutches of cannibalistic cave dwellers.

While still lacking an official start date (though expected to begin shooting extremely soon), Bone Tomahawk will see Wilson starring as the ambitious foreman leading a cattle-driving team which is hit by an unfortunate accident, and Fox playing a sharp-shooter, alongside the already cast Russell, Richard Jenkins (Jack Reacher), and Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter), when it’s released next year.
