We’ve already got confirmation that only only will Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction) and Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future) be returning for the sequel to Piranha 3D; Piranha 3DD; but they will be joined by Gary Busey (Lethal Weapon), and now another, madcap, pop-culture icon and true cult legend, is joining them; non other than David Hasselhoff.
The Hoff’s biggest successes (aside from his stunning music career) have come from two giant TV franchises that he headlined; Knight Rider, and Baywatch; and now the man referred to as the “king of the internet” will be leaving the judges bench of Britain’s Got Talent (after the series finishes obviously) to return to the water once more (presumably donning Mitch Buchannon’s trademark red shorts again); this time to face the killer fish, at The Big Wet Water Park.
Other confirmed cast members include Danielle Panabaker (Shark), Paul Scheer (Blackballed), Matt Bush (Adventureland), Katrina Bowden (30 Rock), and Chris Zylka (The Amazing Spider-Man); who film fans will get to see battle the dreadful spindly killer fish this coming November.
