Puss in Boots Trailer

Becoming something of a breakaway favourite, the cocky little cat known as Puss in Boots captured audiences hearts, and tickled their funny bones, when he made his debut appearance in Shrek 2, but has since gone on to much bigger things; by way of getting his own spin-off movie (the teaser trailer for which can be seen below).

Whilst the new trailer (which clearly riffs off the Inception trailer) may be mildly amusing; showing the feisty feline doing what he does best i.e. showing off and acting suave; it doesn’t give very much away about the film’s plot, or who else may be appearing in Puss’ latest epic adventure through fantasy land.

However, we already know that Puss (still being voiced by Antonino Banderas) will join forces with Humpty Dumpy (who’s due to be voiced by Due Date’s Zach Galifianakis), and a slender and seductive Kitty (voiced by Desperado’s Salma Hayek) in order to track down the goose that lays the golden eggs, in this prequel movie that chronicles Puss’ adventures before he meets the famous green ogre, and his talkative ass.

Still leaving plenty of time for an official trailer, and a couple of clips, to be released down the line, Puss in Boots won’t be getting its theatrical release until November 4th in the U.S., and December the 9th in the U.K.; when it will, of course, arrive in kid-friendly 3D.
