Based on a real-life incident, the upcoming crime thriller Frozen Ground; which is due to star Nicolas Cage (National Treasure) as a police officer hunting a serial killer (played by 2012’s John Cusack) in the wilds of Alaska; has just expanded it’s cast-list by one; as Silent Hill’s Radha Mitchell has recently signed on to appear in the film.
Mitchell will be playing Cage’s wife in the movie which is being directed by relative newcomer Scott Walker, is currently filming, also stars Vanessa Hudgens (Sucker Punch); as the only woman to have escaped the serial killer’s clutches; 50 Cent (Get Rich or Die Tryin’), Dean Norris (Breaking Bad), and Kevin Dunn (Transformers), and is due to be released on December 1st 2012 in the US, but doesn’t have a definitive UK release date as yet.
