Rebecca Ferguson, who made the world fall head-over-heels in love after her breakout performance in Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, will star in Skydance’s sci-fi film Life.

Safe House director Daniel Espinosa will helm the project, with Deadpool collaborators Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese writing the script. The movie follows “the crew of the International Space Station, who, after retrieving a sample from Mars, discover that it displays signs of life, and proves to be more intelligent than expected.”

Hollywood has been slavering after Ferguson ever since the massive financial success of Rogue Nation, which lead to her casting in the much-anticipated adaptation of The Girl on the Train which will be released this year. She’ll also appear in The Snowman opposite Michael Fassbender, but we’ll have to wait for 2017 for that. The sixth instalment in the Mission: Impossible series shoots next August, where she’ll most likely make an appearance as well.

Release/shooting dates for Life are yet to be announced.
