Russo Brothers Directing Captain America 2

It may not have been the best movie in the Marvel universe, but Captain America still did solid business at the Box Office, and proved to be a welcome addition to The Avengers, and so it’s no surprise that Marvel Studios are moving ahead with a sequel, and have just lined up Joe and Anthony Russo to direct.

Apparently topping a list which included the likes of George Nolfi (The Adjustment Bureau), and F Gary Gray (Law Abiding Citizen), the Russo brothers (who’re best known for You, Me and Dupree, as well as a few indie pics) will now be tackling a rather secretive project; as there’s still little known about Captain America 2, other than the fact it’ll likely involve Steve Rogers (once again played by a returning Chris Evans) attempting to adapt to living in the modern world (as opposed to his World War II beginnings), when it’s eventually released on April 4th 2014.
