Ryan Reynolds Headlining Highlander?

It’s one of those remakes that’s been stuck in limbo for quite sometime (see The Crow for another example), but things finally seem to be moving ahead for the planned Highlander reboot; with The Change-Up’s Ryan Reynolds now in talks to star as the lead.

Due to be directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (Intruders), it’s not known exactly how far the reboot will differ from the 1986 original; though when it eventually gets made, it’ll undoubtedly feature a band of immortal warriors fighting to the death, across the centuries, and lopping each others heads off with swords because ‘There Can Be Only One.’
