Coming from producer Lawrence Bender (Kill Bill, Inglorious Basterds), the latest film to feature action hero Jason Statham (Blitz, The Transporter) places him in the role of an ex-cop-turned-cage-fighter, who puts his own life on the line to save a 12-year-old girl, and has just had its first trailer released online (now available to view below).
Luke Wright (Statham) steps in to rescue the girl after he sees the same gangsters that murdered his family chasing her, and soon realizes she holds a Triad secret that’s extremely valuable, and leads to the pair being hunted by not only two ruthless gangs, but a whole host of New York’s most corrupt cops.
Safe is due to be released on March 2nd, in both the US and UK.
