Damn you Doctor Who. Damn you to Skaro!
I honestly thought I was DONE with the show after the limp ending to the missed opportunity that was Series 8 with Peter Capaldi’s superb, darker edge Doctor trying to figure out if he’s a good man or not… but there’s plenty to be excited for with this early sneak peak trailer from San Diego Comic Con.
Jenna Coleman back as Clara. The Doctor wearing sunglasses and playing guitar (If that episode isn’t called The Doctor Rocks, they’ve missed a trick). Melted face, hollowed eyes, Victorian ghouls. Sci-fi landscapes. Daleks (Zzzz). Missy. Zygons. “I’m The Doctor… And I save people!” Best of all, Maisie Williams from Game Of Thrones turning up as someone we’re meant to recognise! (I’ll leave you/the internet to figure out who it is for yourself…)
Best of all, we don’t have to wait that long to see Series 9’s arrival with a September 19th 2015 airdate announced at the end of the trailer!
