See The Power of Few’s Winning Scene

Way back in May, we told you about an upcoming indie movie called The Power of Few, which was rewarding fan involvement in a unique and inspiring way; by running a competition that allowed fans to not only view raw footage shot on location in New Orleans, but read a portion of the film’s script, and edit a specific scene that will be seen in the movie’s final release; and now that the competition is over, the winning entry can be seen below.

Jeremy Hansen edited the scene, which was chosen as a fan favourtie, and eventually picked, by writer/director Leone Marucci (Reaction) and star Q’orianka Kilcher (The New World), as the winning entry, and will not only get to see his scene in the final cut of the movie, but also have his name in the credits.

The Power of Few revolves around the efforts of a mysterious smuggling ring attempting to steal a priceless artifact; told through the perspective of five different characters, who all cross paths on a day filled with danger, hope, and possible transformation; and boasts a cast that includes Christopher Walken (Catch Me If You Can), Christian Slater (True Romance), Jesse Bradford (Flags of our Fathers), and Moon Bloodgood (Faster), and is scheduled to be released in the US later this year.
