Shaun the Sheep the Movie Trailer

Shaun the Sheep the Movie PosterComing from Aardman, the animation studio which not only created Wallace & Gromit (with whom Shaun made his first ever appearance), and gave life to Chicken Run, but two years ago released The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists (a film we “can’t recommend highly enough”), Shaun the Sheep the Movie has just had its first full trailer released online (now available to view below).

Since making his debut in A Close Shave (the Wallace & Gromit adventure which is now an amazing 19 years old – being released in 1995) Shaun has gone on to become a hugely successful entity in his own right; being the star of the popular children’s TV show Shaun the Sheep; but decides, in his new movie, that it’s time for a day off.

Shaun and his sheepish friends decide to take a break, inadvertently leading to The Farmer being taken away to the Big City; where Shaun & co. will have to go and rescue him, following a series of misadventures in the film which will introduce us to two brand new Aardman characters (Trumper, “the animal warden who rules the city’s animal shelter with a rod of iron” according to Aardman’s official description, and Slip “an inner city orphan dog who helps Shaun save the day”), and reveal a story about appreciating the things we have in life, when Shaun the Sheep the Movie is released on February 6th next year.
