Sherlock Series 4 trailer 2

With Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman soon set to grace the small screen (and the big – as the final episode of the series will reportedly be broadcast live in a number of cinemas) as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson once more, below you’ll find the second official trailer for the BBC’s Sherlock series 4.

Clearly aiming for a decidedly dark vibe, it doesn’t appear Sherlock will be having too much fun this time around (despite the fact John and his wife are becoming parents), as we hear ominous warnings from Sherlock’s brother Mycroft (show co-creator Mark Gatiss), and see new villain Toby Jones (Captain America: The First Avenger) clearly enjoying toying with our hero.

Louise Brealey, Rupert Graves, and Una Stubbs are all also returning for the fourth series; another three episode run which will begin on New Years Day with an episode entitled The Six Thatchers, before following up with The Lying Detective on 8 January, and finishing with The Final Problem on 15 January.
