With Bradley Cooper (The Hangover) taking the lead role of a former teacher who’s been previously institutionalized for a bout of severe depression and emotional issues, The Silver Linings Playbook has just had its first trailer released online (now available to view below).

Directed by David O Russell (The Fighter), The Silver Linings Playbook is adapted from Matthew Quick’s novel of the same name, and will find Cooper’s teacher living with his parents (played by Animal Kingdom’s Jacki Weaver and Limitless’ Robert De Niro), trying to overcome his shortfalls with the help of a friend (Chris Tucker, Rush Hour), and courting the equally troubled Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence, The Hunger Games), when it’s released on November 21st in the US, before making its UK release date on November 23rd.
