Legend of hercules posterComing from the producers of the brilliant action movie Olympus Has Fallen, The Legend Of Hercules will present a different tale from the one we know, and showcase the origin story of the ordinary man who became the infamous Greek God, when its released later this month, as seen in the official trailer, which is now available to view below.

Starring Twilight’s Kellan Lutz as the most famous of Zeus’ children, The Legend Of Hercules explores the origin story of the mythical Greek hero; seeing the half-man, half-God, betrayed by his stepfather, sold into slavery, and all but sentenced to death because of a forbidden love with a woman known as Hebe.

Starring Gaia Weiss (Mary Queen of Scots) as Hercules’ forbidden love, and Scott Adkins (Undisputed 3: Redemption) as his royal stepfather, alongside Liam McIntyre (TV’s Spartacus) and Rade Serbedzija (Taken 2), this latest Hercules movie will see everyone’s favourite Demi-God using his extraordinary strength to survive gladiator-arena death matches, and using his formidable powers to face harrowing battles, as he fights his way back to his rightful kingdom, and the woman he loves, in the hope of overthrowing the King, restoring peace to the land, and completing the first leg of his legendary odyssey.

Directed by Cliffhanger’s Renny Harlin, The Legend Of Hercules was the third highest grossing film in its opening weekend in the United States (where it was released on January 10th), and will be looking to replicate that success when it makes its official UK release date on March 28th.
