Stronger trailer and poster for Jake Gyllenhaal’s latest

Below you’ll find a brand new poster, and trailer for Stronger; the upcoming drama starring Jake Gyllenhaal (Southpaw) as Jeff Bauman; a working-class Boston man who captured the hearts of Boston, and the world, when an iconic photo of him following the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013 came to define not only his inner courage, but that of the entire city.

Focussing on the months of physical and emotional rehabilitation needed after the attack, Stronger is not only the true story of the man who became the very embodiment of “Boston Strong”, but a deeply personal account of Jeff’s loss, and personal struggles as his girlfriend (Tatiana Maslany, Orphan Black) and family attempt to help him through the tragedy.

Co-starring Miranda Richardson (Blackadder), Clancy Brown (Highlander), and Maggie Castle (The Time Traveller’s Wife), the David Gordon Green (Your Highness) directed Stronger is due to be released on September 22nd in the US, but won’t make its official UK release date until December 8th.
