Clearly being the main attraction at Warner Bros./DC Comics’ special event last night, we now have a brand new trailer for David Ayer’s Suicide Squad available to view below (following a slew of recently released posters for the film).
For those who don’t know, Suicide Squad has been directed by David Ayer (Fury) and will see a gang of DC Comics’ most dangerous and deranged super-villains coaxed together in order to take on suicidally dangerous missions for a secret government branch.
So, who’re we going to see on screen as DC’s best worst? Margot Robbie (as Harley Quinn), Will Smith (as Deadshot), Cara Delevingne (as Enchantress), Jai Courtney (as Captain Boomerang), Joel Kinnaman (as Rick Flagg), Karen Fukuhara (as Katana), Adele Akinnuoye-Agbaje (as Killer Croc), Jay Hernandez (as El Diablo), and Adam Beach (as Slipknot).
We’ll also get to see Viola Davis (The Help) as Squad assembler Amanda Waller, and Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club) playing The Joker, when Suicide Squad is released on August 5th in both the US and UK.
