Supergirl and The Flash musical crossover villain announced

Their first, network-breaking, crossover saw Supergirl and The Flash have an enjoyably fun first meeting and rather close race. The second saw the pair joining forces with the cast of Arrow and DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow for a huge 4-way 4-show crossover known as Invasion. Now gearing up for their third meeting, the Scarlett Speedster and the Girl Of Steel are soon to have a musical crossover, introducing formerly animated Batman: The Brave And The Bold villain the Music Meister.

Voiced by Neil Patrick Harris, the How I Met Your Mother star has said he’d be open to reprising the role for the live-action TV event which is set to start in Supergirl and finish in The Flash and will find both characters “at pivotal crossroads in their respective series”; meaning “the musical will have a great impact on both series’ going forward”, according to executive producer Andrew Kreisberg.

Executive producer Greg Berlatni stressed the fact while he and the studio are fans of Harris, they “haven’t gone about casting it yet.” Still, a musical will be a great fit for both Supergirl star Melissa Benoist, and The Flash‘s Grant Gustin, as both stars were previously members of the Glee cast.
