With the recent, and ongoing, comic-book film frenzy bringing highly popular, big-budget movies to our screens; including not only Iron Man 2, and next year’s Thor, but Captain America, The Green Lantern, Batman 3, Sipderman, X-Men: First Class, and Superman, among others; it seems that the comic-book heroes aren’t entirely satisfied with cornering the massively popular, family-friendly, film market, and have invaded another medium; they’re currently gearing up to take the world of porn by storm.
Vivid Entertainment recently produced Batman XXX: A Porn Parody (which was a, slightly more naked, re-creation of the camp 60’s TV show starring Adam West and Burt Ward), and, after receiving overwhelmingly positive responses (which apparently come as a result of the films high production values; including hiring the costume designer from the original show to recreate the outfits; and possibly has something to do with the on-screen sex as well), is planning on creating a whole line of pornographic parodies; including The Green Hornet, Spiderman, Wonder Woman, Captain America, Thor, and The Hulk; all of which have already entered pre-production.
Axel Braun, the director of Batman XXX (which will be receiving a limited release later this month, which actually includes a half-hour non-sex version of the film, and has already broken pre-order records), is also working on parodies such as Godfather XXX, and The Addams Family XXX, and will act as lead director on the superhero line; as he has some interesting ideas for the upcoming films (including having the actor playing Superman jump from a plane, “in order to get more realistic flying shots”), on which he is hoping to “have a lot of fun.”
