He did a fantastic job as chav turned posh secret agent Eggsy in Kingsman: The Secret Service, will be back on the big screen next month with the release of Tom Hardy’s gangste flick Legend (a biopic of The Kray’s), following that up by headlining a biopic of British ski jumper Eddie The Eagle, and may now be lining up a further feature; Lionsgate’s Robin Hood Origins.

A deal is yet to be struck, but Deadline reports Egerton and Lionsgate have entered talks to have him star in this new take on the classic Robin Hood tale; this time scripted by Joby Harold (the man behind Guy Ritchie’s upcoming Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur) and directed by Otto Bathhurst (Peaky Blinders).
