The Big Stone Grid for Michael Mann

0

Known for crafting one of the greatest action/crime/thriller movies ever to grace the silver screen (Heat), Michael Mann will soon be stepping away from the small screen (as he’s been busy producing HBO’s Luck as of late), and back to familiar territory; as he’s just signed on to develop The Big Stone Grid.

The Big Stone Grid has been written by S. Craig Zahler (The Incident), and will follow two detectives who are in the middle of bringing down a huge extortion ring that stretches throughout the seedy underbelly of New York, yet despite it’s potential the film will have to take a back seat in Mann’s mind; as his next project, Go Like Hell, will soon see him directing the tale of Ford and Ferrari’s duel for sports car supremacy in the 1960s.
