Coming from Joss Whedon (the Firefly director who’s currently tasked with bringing The Avengers to the big screen) and Drew Goddard (Cloverfield), The Cabin In The Woods follows a group of friends who head out into the woods to enjoy some uninterrupted partying, and end up discovering something pretty horrific.
Goddard has directed the movie, which stars Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Jesse Williams (Brooklyn’s Finest), Kristen Connolly (The Happening), Fran Kanz (Donnie Darko), and Anna Hutchinson (Power Rangers Jungle Fury), alongside Richard Jenkins (Let Me In), and Bradley Whitford (The West Wing), supposedly takes a new look at the classic horror formula, and is due to be released on April 13th in both the US and UK.
