Directed by Mabrouk El Mechri (JCVD) the upcoming action/thriller The Cold Light of Day stars Henry Cavill (The Tudors) as an everyday man who, while holidaying with his family, discovers that his ‘business consultant’ father actually works for the CIA, and ends up getting embroiled in a huge web of conspiracy, complete with guns, explosions, and rooftop-jumps.
Bruce Willis (Die Hard) stars as Cavill’s CIA father, while Sigourney Weaver (Alien) will be portraying another, possibly dangerous, CIA agent, in the film which is due to be released on April 6th in both the US and UK, and recently had its first trailer released online (now available to view below).
