The Holding Trailer

After premiering at this year’s FrightFest to rave reviews that praised the uncompromising nature of the film, the superb performances of its lead actors, and the general feeling of tension and fear it manages to engulf the audience in, The Holding has now come to DVD, and you can see its official trailer below.

Set in the Peak District, The Holding is an unrelenting thriller which follows a wife who kills her husband (in order to protect her daughters from him), only to have her secret come back to haunt her in a dangerous and unexpected way, when a charming drifter comes calling, a full eight months later.

Directed by Susan Jacobson (Bushido: The Way of the Warrior) and starring Kierston Wareing (Luther) and Vincent Regan (300), alongside David Bradley (Harry Potter), Terry Stone (Rise of the Footsoldier), and Skye Lourie (The Pillars of the Earth), The Holding is sure to both mesmerize and captivate viewers with a fierce and intimidating nature that creates a truly gripping experience; this is no Emmerdale Farm.

The Holding is out now on DVD, is currently on limited release at select cinemas, and to find any more information about the film you can find it’s official website here, Facebook page here, or Twitter profile here.
