Scott Pilgrim Vs the World:

When Scott Pilgrim (Cera) literally meets the girl of his dreams, he’s over the moon, until he realizes that in order for them to date, he has to defeat her seven evil ex-boyfriends; which include an infamous skateboarder, a vegan rock star, and fearsome identical twins.

Grown Ups:

Five childhood friends, and their families, reunite to attend the funeral of their beloved basketball coach; staying at their late coach’s house, and trying to show their kids how to have fun the old-fashioned way, whilst teasing each other, and reliving old times.

Avatar: Extended Collector’s Edition:

Format: Blu-ray/DVD

Stars: Sam Worthington (Clash of the Titans, 2010), Zoe Saldana (The Losers), Sigourney Weaver (Alien), Stephen Lang (Tombstone)

This new release of James Cameron’s (Titanic) Avatar features all three movie versions; the original theatrical release, the extended theatrical release, and the exclusive, never-before-seen, extended cut; and comes bundled with over eight hours of bonus features, and 45 deleted scenes.

The Last Airbender:

Stars: Noah Ringer (Cowboys & Aliens), Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire), Nicola Peltz (Deck the Halls), Jackson Rathbone (Twilight)

Based on Nickelodeon’s hit series Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Last Airbender tells the tale of a boy with incredible “bending” powers, as he journeys through exotic lands filled with magical creatures, and learns that he is the only one able to stop an age-old conflict between four nations.

Released 23rd November:

The Expendables:

Stars: Sylvester Stallone (Rambo), Jason Statham (Crank), Jet Li (Hero), Dolph Lundgren (Universal Soldier: Regeneration)

Featuring a cast that reads like an action wishlist; including Stallone, Lundgren, Statham, Li, Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler), and cameos from Schwarzenegger (Commando), and Willis (Surrogates), The Expendables promises to be the action event of a generation.

When a small-town girl (Diaz) meets a mysterious stranger (Cruise), she thinks she’s found the man of her dreams; until she discovers he’s a fugitive super-spy, who thrusts her into a globe-spanning game of cat-and-mouse, forcing her to decide if he’s a traitor, or the love of her life.
