Hot on the heels of the release of the retro style poster for Steven Speilberg and JJ Abrams’ upcoming monster movie Super 8, comes the release of another retro themed poster; this time for Paul WS Anderson’s upcoming adventure movie, The Three Musketeers (available to view below).
Based on the often adapted Alexandre Dumas novel of the same name, The Three Musketeers once again sees director Paul WS Anderson working with his wife Milla Jovovich (the pair recently worked on Resident Evil: Afterlife together), but steering a cast that includes not only Jovovich, but Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson); as the Musketeer wannabe d’Artagnan; Matthew MacFadyen (Spooks), Ray Stevenson (Rome), and Luke Evans (Clash of the Titans); as Musketeers Athos, Porthos, and Aramis respectively.
Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale), Christoph Waltz (The Green Hornet) and Orlando Bloom (The Lord of the Rings) round out the cast as the film’s villains, in the new take on the classic tale; which marks the first time the Musketeers story has been shown (and filmed) in 3D, and is due to be released in both the US and UK on October 14th this year.
