Coming from director Clint Eastwood (Gran Torino), below is the first trailer for Sully; the upcoming story of Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, the man who was hailed as a hero after safely landing a malfunctioning plane in the Hudson River back in 2009 (the new poster can also be seen on the right, and clicked to view full size).
Tom Based on Sully’s memoir, Highest Duty: My Search For What Really Matters, and producer by both Sully himself and Frank Marshall (Back To The Future), Sully has been scripted by Todd Kmoarnicki (Perfect Stranger), and will co-star Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight), Laura Linney (The Big C), Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad), Sam Huntington (Superman Returns) and Jerry Ferrara (Entourage), when it’s released on September 9th in the US, before making its official UK release date on December 2nd.
