He’s been entertaining action and comedy fans for years, and has broken practically every bone in his body in the process, but while there is plenty of action in Jackie Chan’s latest film (which happens to be his 100th movie) it’s a much more serious affair than many moviegoers are used to seeing him in, and has just had it’s first trailer released online (now available to view below).

Centering on the Xinhai Revolution in China, 1911: Revolution follows Chan as Huang Xing; one of the heroes of the revolution which deposed the Qing Dynasty and led to the creation of the Republic of China in 1912, after a very brutal and bloody war that saw a 3000 year-old empire struggling to survive, and eventually failing.

1911: Revolution will be heading to Blu-ray and DVD on March 19th.
