Boosted by the extremely positive reaction to the early 3D footage shown of Michael Bay’s (Armageddon) latest Transformers movie; Transformers: Dark of the Moon; Paramount recently announced they would be moving up the film’s release date, shortly after releasing a brand new trailer for the film (which can now be seen below).

Paramount are reportedly keen to let people know that the latest film; which sees the Autobots and Decepticons in a race to secure an alien ship, that crashed on the moon, and bringing the war of the giant aliens robots to a head, in Chicago; is not only “better than the first” but “much better than the last.”

Transformers: Dark of the Moon stars Shia LaBeouf (Wall Street 2), Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (best known for dating Jason Statham, and modeling for Victoria’s Secret), Josh Duhamel (Life As We Know It), Tyrese Gibson (Four Brothers), Ken Jeong (The Hangover), and the voices of Hugo Weaving (The Matrix) and Leonard Nimoy (Star Trek), and is now slated for release on Wednesday June 29th, in not only the US and UK, but everywhere except China and Japan.
