While it may have been Jason Statham to gave life to The Transporter on the big screen, the latest installment in the successful franchise is clearly lacking The Stath, and sees him replaced by Prison Break’s Chris Vance, for the upcoming US TV adaptation of the film series, which has just had its first trailer released online (now available to view below).
Playing Frank Martin (Statham’s character from the movies; albeit with more hair), Vance will find himself delivering a number of sensitive packages for nefarious types (usually with dire consequences) in the Cinemax produced series which is rumoured to have suffered a number of behind the scenes creative differences, and is still lacking an official air date.
