Despite Tron: Legacy receiving a fairly disinterested reaction from both critics and audience members alike, Disney have decided it’s about time to pump up for a sequel, and have just announced an official start date for Tron 3; with filming beginning this autumn.
Legacy director Josep Kosinski will be returning to helm the upcoming follow-on, of which there is very little known at this point; other than the fact filming will take place in Vancouver, and Legacy headliner Garrett Hedlund will return. So far there’s no word on whether or not Jeff Bridges, and Bruce Boxleitner will reprise their roles, not plot details, and very little information available from Disney, though with an autumn shoot scheduled in we’d expect to start hearing more pretty soon.
