While holiday specials having been popular in the US for years, it stands to reason there might eventually be one we’d enjoy seeing on both sides of the pond. Enter A Very Murray Christmas, the upcoming holiday special hosted by Bill Murray, as seen in the trailer below.
Co-written by Bill, Sofia Coppola (who directed Mr Murray in Lost in Translation), and Scrooged writer Mitch Glazer, A Very Murray Christmas will find Bill hosting a very traditional holiday special; hosting a celebrity-filled shindig, which he fears no-one will attend due to a severe snowstorm raging outside.
With singing, dancing, and appearances ranging from George Clooney to Miley Cyrus, Jason Schwartzman, Chris Rock, Paul Shaffer, Michael Cera, Maya Rudolph, and Amy Poehler among others, A Very Murray Christmas will be available to Netflix subscribers (seen as it’s a Netflix Original production) from December 4th.
