Best known for starring as Rollo in History’s impressive drama Vikings, Clive Standen is the latest name to join the upcoming global pandemic thriller Patient Zero.
Taking place after a virulent strain of rabies has seen a new rage virus consume the Earth and create a violent new species of human, Patient Zero will see Standen playing a military man struggling to maintain control in the post-apocalyptic world, where an immune survivor begins a quest to search for patient zero in the hopes of curing his wife, and eventually the entire human race.
With a script coming straight from the Blacklist, the Stefan Ruzowitzky (Deadfall) directed movie is set to star Matt Smith (Doctor Who) as the immune survivor, Natalie Dormer (Game Of Thrones) as his wife (presumably), and both Stanley Tucci (Fortitude) and John Bradley (Game Of Thrones) in unconfirmed roles, when it’s released on an as yet unconfirmed date.
