Vince Vaughn set to Brawl In Cell Block 99

Coming from Bone Tomahawk director S. Craig Zahler, and following an ex-boxer who takes a job as a drug courier after his life starts to go downhill, and quickly winds up in prison, Brawl In Cell Block 99 has just found its lead actor in Vince Vaughn (The Internship).

Clearly looking to stick with more dramatic roles (like his turn in the most recent season of True Detective), Vaughn has signed on to play said boxer, and will end up in a world of trouble even after being locked up; as a number of people look to take him down.

Cameras are set to roll later this year (as soon as the rest of the cast are locked in), with XYZ Films producing, the Bone Tomahawk team producing, and the rights looking to be sold at Cannes, with a likely release sometime next year.
