With a less than stellar reaction to The Bourne Legacy, fans of the original Bourne trilogy were undoubtedly pleased to learn director Paul Greengrass would be returning to the franchise, and bringing with him former Bourne frontman Matt Damon (who, for those who don’t know, played the super-spy/amnesiac assassin Jason Bourne in the first three Bourne films). Now Greengrass has begun to assemble his supporting cast, and has just added Vincent Cassel to the roster.

Cassel (known for his roles in Black Swan, and Mesrine) will be boarding the new Bourne as the film’s villain; joining a cast which includes the returning Julia Styles, and franchise newcomers Tommy Lee Jones (Men In Black) and Alicia Vikander (Ex_Machina).

With shooting due to begin shortly (and taking place in locations such as Greece and Las Vegas), the latest Bourne adventure (which is still lacking an officially confirmed title) is due to be released on July 29th in both the US and UK.
