After playing the often hated Shane Vendrell in The Shield, and moving onto portray the often difficult to fathom Boyd Crowder in FX’s Justified, Walton Goggins is gaining notoriety for his ability to play fairly nefarious characters; something he will be continuing in the upcoming indie thriller Officer Down.
Goggins has just signed on to appear in the film, alongside Bones’ David Boreanaz, and will be starring as the prime suspect in the sexual assault of a young woman; which is being investigated by a surly detective played by Blade’s Stephen Dorff; in the movie that doesn’t have a set release date as yet, but will likely shoot before Goggins begins work on Justified’s third season.
