Coming from director Todd Philips (The Hangover) below you’ll find the main trailer for the upcoming based-on-reality comedy/drama War Dogs, which expands on March’s brilliant teaser trailer.
Jonah Hill (The Wolf Of Wall Street) and Miles Teller (Whiplash) headline as Efraim Diveroli and David Packouz respectively; two 20-somethings who became the subject of Guy Lawson’s Rolling Stone article after they somehow exploited a little-known government initiative to bid on U.S. Military contracts, and found themselves swimming in money, landing a $300 millions deal to arm the Afghan military, and ending up dealing with some rather ruthless people as they began to skirt the law, and landed in a whole heap of trouble.
Despite the potential bleakness of the plot, War Dogs appears to have a highly positive energy and great deal of fun behind it, meaning it should be one to look out for when it’s released on August 19th in the US, before making its official UK release date on August 26th.
