Woody Harrelson joins Shock And Awe

Currently in cinemas with Now You See Me 2, Woody Harrelson has just lined up his latest project; Rob Reiner’s upcoming journalist-drama Shock And Awe; following a group of journalists who began investigating the Bush Administration’s claims (and partial justification for the invasion of Iraq) that Saddam Hussein held weapons of mass destruction.

It’ll spark a reunion for Woody and Reiner; as they worked together on the upcoming LBJ biopic; as well as LBJ scriptwriter Joey Hartstone, and could prove to be quite the topical and timely release (provided it finds a distributor, enters production, and is released fairly soon); as we’ve recently heard the results of the Chilcott Report showed there were a number of glaring intelligence failures involved the ‘weapons of mass destruction’ debacle.
