From Breaking Bad to Need For Speed, Emmy-award-winner Aaron Paul has clearly made the jump to the big screen, is a hugely sought after actor in Hollywood right now, and has just added another project to his ever-growing workload, as he’s now set to star in the supernatural thriller The 9th Life Of Louis Drax.
Based on the novel of the same name (by Liz Jensen), Drax begins on the 9th birthday of the titular boy, where he’s injured in a fall which nearly kills him, and finds that after going to hospital the doctor treating him uncovers a mystery which appears to bend the idea of reality.
Due to be directed by Alexandre Aja (the man behind, Mirrors, Piranha 3D, and the upcoming Horns), The 9th Life Of Louis Drax will see Paul picking up the part of the boy’s father (and finding himself under investigation following the fall), when filming begins next month in Vancouver, ahead of an as yet unannounced release date scheduled in for sometime next year.
