Written and originally directed by American Hustle‘s David O. Russell (under the pseudonym Stephen Greene, after financial difficulties led to his exit, and the film being completed without his involvement), the upcoming comedy Accidental Love (otherwise known as Nailed) will soon be making its way into UK cinemas, and you can now see the official Accidental Love trailer below, courtesy of Arrow Films.
Starring Jessica Biel (Total Recall) as a roller-skating waitress who gets accidentally shot in the head with a nail gun the instant she gets engaged to her boyfriend Scott (James Marsden, Death At A Funeral), and begins to develop erratic behaviour as her lack of health insurance means she can’t pay to have the nail removed. Accidental Love finds Alice (Biel) meeting with, and falling for, an ambitious yet clueless Congressman (Jake Gyllenhaal, Nightcrawler) as she attempts to introduce a health care bill which could benefit people with similar afflictions and no insurance.
With a cast which includes the likes of Catherine Keener (The 40-Year-Old-Virgin), David Ramsey (Arrow), James Brolin (Catch Me If You Can), Tracy Morgan (Cop Out), Kirstie Alley (Cheers), and Bill Hader (Superbad), the star-studded, wacky, romantic-comedy Accidental Love will make its official UK release date on June 19th.
