While John Wick star Keanu Reeves joined the upcoming sci-fi film Replicas back in October, his leading female co-star has now been cast, and is none other than Star Trek Into Darkness star Alice Eve.
Eve will be playing Keanu’s ill-fated on-screen wife, and find herself killed in a car crash early on; an event which prompts Reeves’ talented neuroscientist character to become obsessed with resurrecting her, and eventually creating a clone in order to allow her memories to live on.
Due to be directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff (best known for scripting The Day After Tomorrow, and The Tourist), Replicas will arrive after John Wick: Chapter Two, and Eve’s upcoming films The Brits Are Coming, and The Stolen, but has no official release date scheduled as yet.
