While it’s only been at the cinemas a couple of days, hasn’t had a full weekend at the Box Office yet, and hasn’t exactly enthralled every Marvel fan who’s seen it (especially judging by our review), The Amazing Spider-Man clearly planned for a sequel, and has now had a trilogy confirmed via its very own Facebook page.
Originally scripted by James Vanderbilt, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman (the pair behind Transformers and Star Trek) have now been drafted in to overhaul the Spidey 2 script, which will look to expand Spidey’s universe, and head towards a confrontation with the iconic (but poorly executed in Spider-Man 3) Venom.
