While he may not be the name which instantly springs to mind at the mention of the word superhero, Marvel Comics’ Ant-Man will soon be heading onto the big screen; as seen by the release of the brand new teaser poster (which can be seen on the right) and the film’s first teaser trailer (now available to view below).
Starring Paul Rudd (Role Models) as the titular hero; an everyday man who, with the aid of a super-suit, has the ability to shrink in scale, whilst increasing in strength; Ant-Man sees con-man Scott Lang (Rudd) helping his mentor executing a daring heist which could just save the world.
Michael Douglas (Last Vegas) stars as Ant-Man’s mentor Hank Pym, in the Peyton Reed (Yes Man) directed movie which co-stars Michael Peńa (Fury), Evangeline Lily (The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies), Hayley Atwell (Captain America: The First Avenger), and Judy Greer (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), and is due to be released on July 17th in both the US and UK.
