Avengers Age of Ultron Trailer

Avengers Age of Ultron PosterAfter a recent announcement that the first trailer for the upcoming Avengers sequel (not officially titled Avengers 2) was due to accompany an episode of Marvel: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., came an unofficial leak of the trailer; prompting Marvel to swiftly release an official, high definition, Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer (now available to view below).

Once again starring everyone’s favourite Marvel superheroes (provided your not a Spider-Man fan, X-Men groupie, or Punisher lover), Avengers’ will see Robert Downey Jr (currently in cinemas with The Judge), Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, and Mark Ruffalo returning as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and The Hulk respectively, in order to battle a new lab-concocted supervillain.

Said supervillain basically takes the forms of The Terminator’s Skynet; as Ultron will find Star developing an international force of peacekeeping droids run by an artificial intelligence named Ultron; an A.I. which, as all sci-fi A.I.’s tend to do, decides it’s about time he started attacking people.

With James Spader (currently known as the star of TV’s Blacklist) providing the voice of Ultron, Paul Bettany putting in a physical appearance for the first time as Jarvis/The Vision, and newcomers Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass) and Elizabeth Olsen (Godzilla) picking up the parts of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, and Don Cheadle Avengers: Age of Ultron is due to be released on April 24th in the UK, before making its official US release date on May 1st 2015 (unless an impromptu leak causes Marvel to release a week ahead of schedule).
