Coming by way of a teaser for the next official trailer, we now have some brand new Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice footage available to view below.
For those who don’t know, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice will see Batman and Superman battling it out over competing ideologies, and be the first true step on the road to a DC superheroes cinematic universe (unless you count Man of Steel); laying the foundations for an eventual Justice League movie (DC’s answer to The Avengers), and even introducing a number of the major Justice League players here.
Aside from Batman (played by Argo‘s Ben Affleck) and Superman (played by Man of Steel‘s Henry Cavill), we’ll also see Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot, Furious 7) and Aquaman (Jason Momoa, Game of Thrones) making an appearance (there are also unconfirmed rumours Ezra Miller will turn up as The Flash), before each will head off to their own stand-alone movies.
The full new trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice will be released tomorrow (Wednesday), and the film itself will be released on March 25th.
