While reports had The Town director and star Ben Affleck in early talks to star in the upcoming political comedy Nathan Decker, it seems as if the actor has now gone in a new direction, and is looking to star alongside Justin Timberlake (In Time) in the upcoming, online-gambling drama, Runner, Runner.
Due to be directed by The Lincoln Lawyer‘s Brad Furman, Runner, Runner will be based not only online around the world of online poker, but also other less legal online gambling activities and has been scripted by Brian Koppleman and David Levien (the pair behind the poker thriller Rounders), but despite having the major stars, and director, in place, there’s no word as yet on when Runner, Runner will start shooting.
