Following the first screening of Steven Spielberg’s The BFG at Cannes, Entertainment One have just released a brand new trailer for the film which is now available for you to view below.
Adapted from Roald Dahl’s classic children’s story of the same name, The BFG follows the adventures of a young girl named Sophie (played by newcomer Ruby Barnhill) as she’s whisked away from her quiet existence at an orphanage by a mysterious giant she’ll come to know as The Big Friendly Giant (played by Bridge of Spies star Mark Rylance).
Co-starring Rebecca Hall (The Town), Bill Hader (Superbad), and Jemaine Clement (What We Do In The Shadows), The BFG is due to be released on July 1st in the US, before making its official UK release date on July 22nd.
