Brave, the latest movie from Pixar (the studio who created Toy Story, Up, and Cars) is shaping up to be a true must-see animation, and looks to be bringing all the medieval fantasy, adventure, family values, and Scotland, anyone could want in a modern family film; as evident by the newly released trailer (now available to view below).
Following the medieval Scottish Princess Merida (Kelly Macdonald, Boardwalk Empire) as she goes on a quest to find a spell that could change her fate and save her from marrying one of three pitiful potential suitors (who exhibit their athletic prowess in this clip), but accidentally brings chaos to her land, Brave features the voice talents of The Last Samurai’s Billy Connolly, Love Actually’s Emma Thompson, Rome’s Kevin McKidd, Cracker’s Robbie Coltrane, and Harry Potter’s Julie Walters, and is due to be released on June 22nd in the US, but won’t receive its UK release date until August 17th.
